My Religious Beliefs

First and foremost, I am a Christian and I believe in Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Ghost. I have learned for myself that holy men who are called by God deliver His message of love to the world. In addition to reading their words which are found in books of scripture, I have learned that regular worship, fasting, and prayer also allow us to hear God’s voice.

I know that God the Father, and His son Jesus Christ appeared to a man named Joseph Smith over 200 years ago, and I know that they called and directed him to restore Christ’s original teachings and church to the earth amidst the religious confusion of his time. I know that The Book of Mormon which Joseph Smith was commanded to translate and publish contains all the truths which we need to know to receive forgiveness of sins and Jesus’ divine help in our lives.

I know that Jesus Christ heads His church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, today. I know that Russell M. Nelson is God’s living mouthpiece and prophet in our own time, and if we heed his words, we will find peace, even during life’s challenges.

I am so grateful for God’s love and Jesus Christ’s life and mission. I strive to share it with everyone who will listen!
