Lewis Garner, born and raised in Boise, Idaho, grew a love for making music and participating in authentic performances at an early age. After serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was accepted into the Brigham Young University (BYU) School of Music at Provo, Utah. In 2025 he earned his bachelor's degree in Music Performance at BYU-Idaho in Rexburg, where he met and married the love of his life.
Lewis currently plays in the cello section of the Idaho Falls Symphony and teaches on the faculty of BYU-I as an adjunct cello instructor. In addition to performing and teaching private cello lessons, he also works in the community as an assistant orchestra teacher to multiple classes of young kids, guiding and teaching the rising generation.
Notable collaborations include Garner's work as a recording artist with the Good News and Christian duo Peace of Heaven. Garner also writes his own music in a variety of genres and styles. His instrumental music can be heard on most streaming services, and his classical pieces and arrangements are found on YouTube.
